사진가. 인간의 근원성에 관심을 두고 그것이 드러나는 현장을 찾아다닌다. 영주댐 건설로 수몰된 마을과 밀양 송전탑 사태의 기록으로 2015년 첫 개인전 <두 마을 이야기>를 열었다. 한국의 사회적 이슈와 함께 동일본 대지진, 시리아 난민, 우크라이나 전쟁 등 국제 이슈를 카메라에 담아왔다. 한지와 명주, 소주 등 한국의 전통 문화를 기록하기도 했다. 언론사 기자로 일했고 현재 프리랜서로 활동 중이다. 사진집 <사진, 강을 기억하다>, <그날 당신은 어디에 있었는가> 등이 있다. 2020, 2023 온빛사진상을 수상했다. 

Photojournalist, Documentary photographer. Interested in human attributes. looking for the scene where it is revealed. In 2015, a solo exhibition "Two Village's Story" was held with the records of the submerged village and the Miryang power transmission tower Incident. I recorded the Great East Japan Earthquake(2011), Syrian refugees(2016), Armenian refugees(2020), Ukrainian war (2022, 2023) on camera. Also documented artisans who keep Korean traditional culture such as hanji(paper), silk, and Soju(liquor). I had worked as a staff photographer, photo editor in newspaper for 12 years since 2009 and is currently a freelancer. There are photo book, <Photography, Remember the River>, <Where Were You That Day>. It won the 2020, 2023 Onbit Photography Award.
